How a round goes

  1. A question goes up on the big screen with four numbered answers, and the host's voice reads it out.
  2. Every phone shows the same four answers in the same colors. Tap one before the 20-second clock runs out; one tap locks it in.
  3. The reveal strikes out the wrong answers with who picked them, then lights up the right one with who got it.

Scoring

Trivia: a question goes up with four numbered answers, the same on every phone. Everyone taps an answer on their phone before the 20-second clock runs out. A right answer is 2 points, and the fastest right answer gets 3. The scoreboard shows after every question, and the final screen crowns the winner.

Every one of these is in the game's everyday deck: general knowledge, science, geography, movies, sports and music, for a mixed room of adults and teens.

Tips for a trivia night

  • Play 12 rounds for a proper trivia night, or pick Party Mix to put trivia questions between the opinion games.
  • Teams work too: put one phone on each couch and let the team argue before it taps.
  • The big screen remembers which questions it has shown and plays new ones first, so next week's game night starts fresh.

Questions

Are the answers on this page?

Yes, in bold after each question. In the game, the answers stay hidden until the reveal.

Can we write our own trivia questions?

Yes. In the host's lobby, open "Add your own questions" and type one per line under Trivia, as the question, the right answer and three wrong ones, split by slashes: Where did Mom and Dad meet? / At a bakery / On a ski lift / At a wedding / At a dog park. Yours play first, in a shuffled order of answers; the phones show only the numbers and say to read it on the big screen.

Can one person play alone to try it?

Yes. Open the host screen on a laptop and join from your own phone; Trivia starts with one phone.
