A fill-in-the-blank party game, played on your phones

In Quick Wit, a prompt goes up on the TV, like "The worst thing to hear from your pilot". Everyone types an answer on their phone. The TV shows all the answers numbered, with no names, and everyone votes on their phone for the funniest one. Each vote is 2 points.

How a round goes

  1. The prompt goes up on the big screen. Everyone has 75 seconds to write an answer of up to 60 characters.
  2. Once everyone has written, the big screen shows the answers in a shuffled order, numbered, with no names.
  3. Everyone votes on their phone by number. Your own answer's button is grayed out.
  4. The reveal shows who wrote what, who voted for it and the points.

Scoring

Quick Wit: a prompt goes up, such as "A terrible name for a boat". Everyone writes an answer on their phone. The big screen shows the answers numbered, with no names, and everyone votes for the funniest one that isn't theirs. Each vote is 2 points to its writer.

Tips

  • It needs at least 3 phones, and it's best with 4 to 8 players.
  • Pick the Holidays deck for prompts like "A terrible name for a reindeer".
  • Short answers read better on a TV across the room.
